29 January 2024
Laure Bazzoli studied economics at the University of Saint-Etienne, before completing her doctorate at the University of Lyon, on the American author John Rodgers Commons. She then became a teacher-researcher at the Université Lumière Lyon 2, where she is currently in charge of the Master's Degree in Economics of Work and Human Resources.
Laure Bazzoli is particularly interested in the reciprocal links between institutionalist economics and pragmatist philosophy under the figures of J.R. Commons and J. Dewey.
Her work thus contributes to three main areas:
- Labor economics and industrial relations;
- The history of thought;
- Economic and social philosophy.
